My wife and I went there 31 years ago for our first date.

Great food and reasonably priced.

Yummy food, family atmosphere. Try the veal parm, tender and delish!

I used to come here with my family 40+ years ago as a child. I forget about it and probably go once like every 4 or 5 years. Went tonight and all of the food my friend and I ordered was quite good. I don’t know why I never remember to come here and will now try to get there at least once a month!

Not like the old Pal's. Has gone downhill.

They make one amazing Bacon Chili Cheeseburger! Moved here from South Carolina and haven't found one place except Pal's that makes them like I was raised on. Thank y'all very many bunches

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and have lived away for many years now. My dinner at Pal's brought me right back to my childhood! The food was delicious and plentiful. The stuffed shrimp were just as I remembered, the shrimp were succulent and the stuffing was perfect! The best meal I've had in a very long time!

Great Service! Great Food!

Thought this would be a good place to sit down and have lunch on a work day. Big mistake, took 50 mins to get my burger. The burger was very overcooked and had nothing on it, just a pattie and a bun. This was all after dealing with the rude staff for sitting at a table instead of the bar. I will never go back and I do not reccomend you go here. Miserable staff, lousy food and a long wait.

Great food. Not Nuevo upscale throw together ingredients, real homestyle Sicilian, like my mother made in my home.

Hidden jem. Old school, get past the atmosphere and look at the menu. Veal osso bucco melts in your mouth, prime rib to order.

Food was good, although a little overdone. Waitstaff was overheard complaining about guests. They were very accommodating, but slow and rough. First time back here in a while. I'll give it another go in a year or so. Just didn't do it this time.

Great food and service at a fair price. Vela Parm was great but they also have seafood and steaks.

Friendly service from start to finish. We are visiting and ate here based on reviews. Huge menu, great variety, family friendly, and not expensive. You get a lot of food and great quality.

I have been going to Pal's restaurant since I was a kid in the 1970's. The quality and taste of the food on their varied menu has never waivered. The best veal parmigiana around RI. Great food at reasonable prices.

I manage to find something to eat. Just wish they had gluten free pasta. They did at one time. The $50 a couple meal on Wednesdays is a great deal.

I ordered fish-and-chips coleslaw raspberry tea very very good

They have a $6.99 lunch special they advertise on main road and all over the menus when you look online. Even if you order theough food delivery apps it shows a 6.99 lunch special. I ordered and was expecting to pay 6.99 when i arrived to pick up it was almost 17.99. I said it is advertised everywhere as 6.99 but he was rude and i asked to speal to the manager/owner who hasnt called me back in 2 months. Avoid this bait and switch restaurant.

Fantastic! Best Veal Parmesan ever! That Italian bread is the best!

The location was clean and the staff is friendly. The food was...questionable. Their menu selection is massive and it makes for a great deal of room for improvement since they have to keep up with so many different requests in the kitchen. The price is high which I think can also be attributed to the large menu selection . I got the veal spezzats and it just looked...terrible ... It didn't look like something I'd plate even at home . The flavor was muddled and dull , I couldn't taste the veal at all. The ravioli (that is a spare $2 to get ) were a soggy texture like a frozen item... The sauce is super sweet like a cheap canned product, definitely not home made. I had really high hopes , but this place was just disappointing all around .

Family style restaurant. I have yet to have a bad meal. I recommend it if your quest is decent food.

I'm writing a 1 star, not for the food complaint, but the rude server we had.She rushed the drink order, she wouldn't bring us bread before we placed our food order, and she just was very sharp with us!I do know seniors can be difficult, but Jennifer F. have a better attitude!

Filthy Bathroom, meals expensive, needs to be updated, not so good service! Definitely won't go again! Bathroom did it for me!

Great food

One of Rhode Island's best-- Well known spot. Located in a great area, plenty of parking and just off the vibrant historical Main Street. Also, easy walk to the waterfront area. Food is very good, reasonable price. A favorite and can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

It’s off the beaten path and unassuming but has great food. The veal parm is on point!

Our waitress was too busy filling to go orders to take care of us. Waited over an hour and no food. While others who came in after ordered and finished. Finally got up and left. It wasn't really about waiting so long for the food, but the fact that the waitress was nowhere in sight and never checked in with us while the other two waitresses working were in and out always tending to their customers

There are fewer and fewer of these kind of places left, and Pal's never disappoints!! The food quality has always been excellent - you can tell by the lettuce - never in 10 years of visits have we ever been served anything wilted. The fish is fresh and their mainstays, Italian-American parmigianas, are hands down the best around the area.Go here. Enjoy the genuine old-school decor that reminds you of being a kid. It's old and fantastic. And most importantly always delicious.UPDATE: 1 month later I'm here and all the above is true👍🏻

We came in with a group of six. Should have known it would not be a good experience when the restaurant was mostly empty on a Friday night. We waited over an hour for food that never came out. Finally left after paying for beverages. Not an inviting environment. Dated, poorly lit and slow service. We'll never be back.

Just like it was 30 years ago, nothing changes. Great food at real affordable prices. Another RI gem right in our backyard of East Greenwich. Don't ever change Pals!
